"The Last Mile" Instructions
While you can simply put our address (214 Jordan Rd 05156) into your map app of choice, sometimes the last section can be a little confusing for newcomers.
Instructions for once you are on Breezy Hill Road:
Head straight up the hill. The road will come to a "T" just past the end of the pavement, make a right. Then, make the first left. You'll quickly come to a SHARP RIGHT turn, be careful! Go up the hill to the registration booth on the left.
Camping & RVing at Stellafane
If this is your first visit to the Stellafane convention, especially if you are camping, there are several things you should know. First, our camping is very primitive. Only portable chemical toilets are available. You should bring your own drinking water. There are no showers, no electrical hookups and no isolated campsites. You are likely to be camping back-to-back with others. While this usually makes for good friendships it can cause other side effects. The Convention site is often hot and dusty. There are no hookups of any sort for RVs. We do our best to see that everyone has a happy and comfortable convention but don't be surprised by our rustic conditions -- they are part of the Stellafane tradition.
There are a variety of locations for camping so if you are new to convention, take a quick drive around to see what is available and find a site that looks suitable for your needs. Keep in mind that most convention activities take place on the left side of the map and at the clubhouse on breezy hill. The clubhouse is about a 1 mile walk or you can take the shuttle bus.
Food Service
We are using the same excellent vendor as the past few years: JC’s Market & Deli of North Springfield.
Fresh squeezed lemonade and smoothies will be available.
Bags of Ice will be available for purchase for your cooler.
Thursday:
The Cook Shack will open starting around lunchtime. Dinner from the grill will be available starting Thursday late afternoon / early evening, along with salads, fruit, and snack items. Home-cooked dinner options will also be offered à la carte at the cook shack.
If you are attending the Hartness House Evening Workshop, dinner is included and will be provided there.
Friday & Saturday:
Breakfast (from 6 AM), lunch, and dinner (from 5 PM) will be available on Friday and Saturday. Home-cooked dinner options will also be offered al-la-carte at the cook shack.
An optional pre-ordered complete dinner will be available Saturday evening, starting at 4:30, which must be ordered in advance with your registration. Both meals include a baked potato, a dinner roll, a drink (water or soda), and strawberry shortcake. There is a choice of these charcoal grilled entrees:

The Edgar May Health & Recreation Center, conveniently located in Springfield has showers available to non-members on a walk-in basis. It is a clean and friendly facility, just a 10 minute drive from Stellafane, towards the highway.
